Earlier today on TV47, Honourable ole Sankok, stated that if it is true that the current president of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta paid Ruto, the deputy president for support then they should all be jailed.
The nominated member of parliament said that if the claims were then it is against the constitution and both Uhuru and Ruto should face the law.
in his statement, “If it is true that the president paid deputy president to gain his support, they should actually be in jail. They should be in Kamiti Maximum Prison.”
Honourable Sankok issued this statement after Raphael Tuju, the Azimio executive director, earlier claimed that Ruto was paid by Uhuru for support and he is ready to prove it in a court of law.
The azimio executive director, Raphael Tuju, had earlier on Citizen Tv stated that the Deputy president was paid. He stated that the money was to make Ruto’s communities, the Kalenjins to vote for the current president, Uhuru Kenyatta.
Raphael Tuju claimed that a number of people went ahead to collect the money that was used to lure Ruto to Uhuru Kenyatta’s side.
In Raphael Tuju’ s statement,” For a man who says seven billion is “only”, your guess is as good as mine, that it was in billions.” He went ahead to say that it is 12 days to the elections and Kenyans must know the truth.
Ole Sankok went ahead to state that the claims were untrue. He stated that the allegations were just to turnish the deputy president’s name. He said, “I know my president can not buy support, he actually won the hearts of Kenyans. The Deputy president can not be paid, he supported Uhuru genuinely and from the bottom of his heart.
The nominated member of parliament went ahead to reprimand the Azimio executive director, Raphael Tuju and insisted that he should withdraw the claims and be remorseful to the deputy president.
