In Kacheliba Constituency, an independent electoral and boundaries commission official was arrested by the authorities for trying to change form 34A.
The ward that was inconvenienced is Aleba ward. According to the incharge in the office of the director of public prosecution, the investigations were underway.
More details will be communicated by the office of the director of public prosecution if by any chance anything new emerges.
Elsewhere in Nasokol tallying centre, a presiding officer was caught as he was trying to make changes in the form 34A.
The office of the director of public prosecution however, assured citizens of the area that the incident will be dealt with even as the tallying exercise was being closely watched.
The officer of the director incharge of public prosecution went ahead to list a number of areas that were faced with the same incidents.
In Kisauni constituency,a presiding officer and his deputy are facing the law for failure to count the garnered votes for the women representatives, Members of National Assembly and county Assembly.
Similarly in the Rift valley, Nandi hills, some officials were arrested for disappearance of a ballot box on election day.
Also in Nyanza, Migori County,a polling clerk was arrested for allegedly barring a registered voter from voting at the polling station. However, the office of the director of public prosecution requested more time to conduct thorough investigations.
In Narok County, three polling clerks were arrested for tearing four ballot papers from a member of county assembly seat. Similarly, the ODPP is conducting investigations on the same.
Further, an incident was reported to the office of the director of public prosecution where a voters were issued with extra ballot papers. The incident was implicating a polling clerk and a presiding officer.
All this cases are still pending in the public prosecution offices as the charged are awaiting investigations
