As tallying continues, the independent electoral and boundaries commission has confirmed a win for some candidates under the Jubilee Coalition.
Jubilee coalition was founded by the Outgoing president Uhuru Kenyatta in the year 2017 together with his deputy, William Samoei Ruto.
Below is a list compiled by Darubininews.co.ke of leaders who garnered themselves seats vying under Jubilee party.
1.In Lamu East constituency, Ruweida Mohamed Obo has won himself a parliamentary seat. Ruweida who competing against her Opponent Sharif Athman , got a total of 5498 votes while his opponent followed closely with 4633 votes.
Sharif Athman was vying under the United Democratic party of the deputy president William Ruto.
It is important to note that Ruweida is the first eve Women to win the seat in this constituency, Lamu east.
Sirisia Waluke also got a seat under The Jubilee party. Waluke who is also a lawyer, was declared a winner by the Independent electoral and boundaries commission.
He was competing against Nasiuma Wafula of FORD Kenya coalition. However, the race was a tight one. Waluke garnered 16,461 votes as Nasiuma Wafula got 8811 votes.
In Narok north Constituency, Agnes Pareiyo who vyed through the same Jubilee Party, won herself a ticket to parliament. Pareiyo was contesting against Allan Meingati of the Orange Democratic Movement Party.
Elsewhere in Kisii county, West Mugirango Constituency,Stephen Mogaka of Jubilee party also won a seat. He was declared the Member of Parliament elect by the Independent electoral and boundaries commission.
According to statistics, Isiolo County and its constituencies , seats such as the parliamentary seats were mostly garnered by members of Jubilee party. More news regarding Jubilee win in this county are underway.
This is a great win for the outgoing president of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta being that he and the deputy president William Ruto were the core founders of the same coalition.
