Lee Kinyanjui has promised to challenge Susan Kihika in court over the Nakuru gubernatorial election.
Lee Kinyanjui took to the media to claim that there were election irregularities in the tallying of the votes.
He further alledged that the voters were manipulated to vote for the incumbent governor , Susan Kihika.
He said,” Some of this places were divided alphabetically. It is not possible that an exact same number of people could have agreed and distributed themselves equally into the different streams. Therefore that points to a very unnatural voting pattern.”
Lee Kinyanjui who was vying under the Jubilee party of Azimio la Umoja, further stated that the elections in Nakuru county had Inconsistencies.
He said that , the 6 different balloted seats (President, Governor, senator, Women rep , Member of parliament of Member of county assembly) had irregularities. He alledged that some voters, only voted for 4 out of 6 balloted seats. He further stated that it is not possible for one to only vote for a particular seat and leave others.
He said, “We have also noted inconsistencies in the different county seats between women rep, governor, senator and also president. Which simply means that there are people, mathematically speaking who went voted for president and never voted for anyone else.”
He further said that the most affected seat is the women representative seat.
He also showed his concern on those voters who did not vote for other seats as the IEBC statistics showed.
He stated, “ what happened to that voter after voting. How do they disappear in a queue before they voter for the other two or three.”
Lee who now promised to take this allegations to a court of law, stated that this is a very serious issue that needs forensics to intervene.
He further stated,” Vote manipulation is a very serious challenge to our voting process. If you allow this kind of fraudsters into the nation , then we don’t know where we’re going next.”
