The independent electoral and boundaries commission deputy , Julian Cherera,has released a press stating that , she cannot take ownership for the results that will be announced.
Four commissioners of the Independent electoral commission spoke without the chair Wafula Chebukati.
She stated that the opaque nature of the tallying cannot allow them to announce the results together.
She said,”We are not able to take ownership for the results that will be announced today because of opaque nature of the results.”
She further she stated that she proud of the way the Independent electoral and boundaries commission did they work.
It seems like an Independent electoral and boundaries commission has split. The deputy further stated that results are not according to the law.
Earlier, the chief agent of Azimio la Umoja had stated that the results by the independent electoral and boundaries commission system had been hacked into.
Kanchoru further stated that , Independent electoral and boundaries commission chair, Wafula Chebukati had refuted to verify the results.
The Azimio la Umoja agents expressed that they are dissatisfied with the results that was supposed to be announced today by Wafula Chebukati.
However, he also had been barred from signing the form 34C which contains results from both Form 34A and 34B.
The Azimio allies also stated that they will not any results from the Independent electoral and boundaries commission Chair will not be accepted by their chair, Azimio la Umoja , Raila Odinga.
As anticipation continues, no word has been heard from the other presidential candidates , that’s William Ruto of Kenya kwanza and Roots party leader , George Wajackoyah.
As that continues, Chaos has broke at Bomas of Kenya as leaders such as Ole kina have been seen expressing their dissatisfaction with the results.
Wafula Chebukati is expected to make a press brief declaring the results and explaining the chaos.
