Lord, make me an instrument of your peace ,Raila Odinga’s prayer today.
Quoting the St. Francis Assisi prayer, The Azimio la Umoja leader has expressed his sentiments on his twitter account.
The saint Francis of Assisi was an Italian religious leader who advocated for peace during his time.

Through this prayer, The Azimio la Umoja is asking God to make him an instrument of peace, through him, peace will prevail in the country.
The prayer also contains the apology part, where the saint stated that if by any chance he has caused injuring then he pleads for forgiveness.
He said,”Lord make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light and where there is sadness, Joy.”
It has been a tough race between the Azimio la Umoja leader and Kenya kwanza leader.
After the presidential results, Raila Odinga expressed his disappointment by declaring the election results null and void.
According to the independent electoral and boundaries commission chairman, Wafula Chebukati, Raila scored 48.85 per cent while Kenya kwanza leader,William Ruto scored 50.48 per cent in the election.
There has been a presidential results saga starting with the four commissioner led by the independent electoral and boundaries commission vice- chair , Juliane Cherera stating that they can not take ownership of the results due to the opaque nature of the exercise.
Juliane stated that they were not involved in the last exercise of verifying the form 34C . She also stated that, the presidential resulta by Wafula Chebukati were his own.
Azimio la Umoja who have taken the petition to court have promised not to rest until justice is served by the supreme court of Kenya.
