Info trak CEO explains how Raila Led in polls. Some days to the August 9th general election Info trak releases a survey indicating that Azimio la Umoja leader, Raila Odinga was leading in polls.
The infotrak survey indicated the the Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate will led the presidential election by 52 per cent that is in the first round as Kenya kwanza candidate, William Ruto will score 45 per cent.
According to a press she released on the citizen media, chief executive officer infotrak noted that Raila Odinga was consistently the leading in all the polls they conducted before elections.
Info trak CEO, explains how Raila led in polls. She said, the Azimio la Umoja leader was consistently leading because of the kind of sampling techniques they were using.
She said,”Raila was leading because of the science they were using in terms of sampling and the questions asked were such that unless you were doing something ordinary, the results were the same within the same margin of error, that’s why the pollsters were almost the same.”
Some days before elections, TIFA poll indicated that Raila Odinga was leading as majority of Kenyans were for him. A score that totalled to 53 percent. Kenya kwanza leader, William Ruto was coming in second with 45 percent.
After the announcement and declaration by the independent electoral and boundaries commission chair, Wafula Chebukati, Kenyans were in quest of why the polls were lying.
According to IEBC William Ruto was leading with 50.48 percent while Raila Odinga fell in second with a 48.85 per cent score.
Info trak Chief executive, Ambitho stated that the polls were using sampling techniques that are dictated by certain sciences.
She said,”Polling is a science that follows certain dictates which are not different for some, the science they were using in terms of sampling and the questions asked, results were more or less than the same within a margin of error.”
