My party principal blocked me, stated Justina Wamae.
A fallout between the Roots party principals; Goerge Wajackoyah and Justina Wamae has been witnessed the past few days.
A sentiment she expressed during her interview on the media, Roots party deputy leader stated that my party principal blocked me.
She went ahead to reveal that the last time she was in contact with the party principal was in 3rd August, just beforw the elections.
They also met up at the Bomas of Kenya during the presidential results announcement.
She however insisted that, they do not talk through the phone because the roors party leader, Goerge Wajackoyah blocked her.
She said,”Last time I met him was on August 3, that is when we met in person. Another time was at Bomas when we met and we don’t speak on phone because he blocked me.”
Wamae, the deputy Roots party revealed the kind of rough patch she has been through working as a deputy party leader at the Roots party.
She stated that towards the end of the campaigns, she could not even fuel her car and reaching the party leader was difficult because she was blocked.
She also revealed that she suggested a new campaign strategy but the leader did not listen to her because he was rigid on how he wants to run his party.
She said,”could not fund my car fueling towards the tail end of the campaign. I felt that we should go out as a team but only one person was in charge of campaign. I also had difficulties accessing the party leader.”
Justina also explained that the roots party lost the presidential election because the kenyan citizens believed that the two were state projects to divide votes.
She said,”People lost trust in us, we got few votes because they started calling us projects.”
This happened after the roots party drafted a letter summoning Justina Wamae to a disciplinary hearing.
