Scrutiny of IEBC servers comes to an end.
Justice Lenaola has declared that scrutiny of IEBC servers has been completed. This is after Azimio la Umoja was granted access to the IEBC servers.
Justice Lenaola on september 1, stated that indeed the process was completed last night.
He stated,”We received a full report from the technical team that was leading the exercise at IEBC. We have been informed that the process of compliance was completed last night.”
He further said,”As far as our team is concerned, the process at the IEBC is finished… And the process at Forodha House is coming to an end shortly.”
Azimio la Umoja leader, Raila Odinga on tuesday was given access to the independent electoral and boundaries commission server.
This is after claims of hacking into the IEBC servers to rig votes in favour of Kenya kwanza and the president elect, William Ruto.
The Supreme court further mandated a recount of votes in 14 polling stations.

However, Azimio la Umoja has claimed that the results independent electoral and boundaries commission servers experienced multiple deletions.
According to Philip Murgor, Raila Odinga’s lawyer, the coalition was denied access to the 8 IEBC servers. They were only given access to 5 IEBC servers.
He stated,”I wish to report that as of this morning, nothing has changed. IEBC continues to refuse to provide the forensic image of all eight servers.”
James Orengo, who is also Raila Odinga’s lawyer echoed the words of Murgor regarding the restricted access.
Orengo stated,”We have been given restricted access only limited to results transmitted. And yet we understand that the IEBC has eight servers.”
However justice Lenaola has outlined that any unsatisfied party are free to air it.
Lenaola said,””The court has then asked me to express should there be any issues left unattended to and any concerns that parties have should be part of the report we receive later.”
