Diana Chepkemoi lands full scholarship and a job upon her arrival from Saudi Arabia.
A relief for a Kenyan Student who was mistreated in Saudi Arabia as an employee.
Diana upon arrival in Kenya recalled her difficulties while in Saudi Arabia.
She said,”I left Kenya to go to Saudi Arabia with the hopes of getting a better life and to be honest, mine was just the tip of the iceberg, people are suffering there. My friends are suffering.
She added,”I plead with the government to rescue our people. They are psychologically and mentally tortured. It’s a shame being told that there is nothing the government can do.”

Veska , a Nairobi based politician revealed, Diana Chepkemoi lands full scholarship and a job; Meru University offered a full scholarship and a job for Diana Chepkemoi to sustain herself, the university will also cater for her accomodation.
She said,”Special thanks to Meru University who have offered a job, accommodation and a full scholarship to Diana to enable her complete her Bachelor’s Degree and live a dignified life.”
Veska further stated that it is saddening to see alot of young girls suffering and loosing their lives in the gulf.
She said that Diana Chepkemoi’s case is one among the multiple cases of girls facing it rough while working in Arabic countries.
Veska said,” It is sad to see many youths leave and lose lives like Joan Jeruto from Nandi whose body is still stuck in Saudi Arabia.”
She further highlighted that the ministry of labour should put up measures to help protect the rights of its citizens in the gulf
She said,” I have received many distress calls from others going through similar situations and stuck in Saudi and I urge the Ministry of Labour to urgently intervene to repatriate them until the necessary bilateral arrangements are put in place to protect the Rights of Kenyan workers in Foreign Countries.”
