Chebukati receives a special letter after Supreme court ruling.
The Independent electoral and boundaries commission chairman, Wafula Chebukati receives a special letter of appreciation.
In the letter shared by Chebukati, the the Executive Committee of the Association of African Election Authorities (AAEA) commended him for conducting a free, fair and credible election.
The letter read,”A hearty congratulations to our dear brother, Mr. Wafula Wanyonyi Chebukati, Chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) of Kenya and his team.”
The letter further stated that supreme court upholding the results is a clear indication of the kind of work IEBC put during the election.
It stated,”The Supreme Court validation of the results declaration by the IEBC is a testament of your hard work and efforts.”

The committee also stated that it alludes the committee for being ready to defend their challenged declaration in a court of law.
The letter read, “We, the Executive Committee of the Association of African Election Authorities (AAEA) applaud your tireless efforts in ensuring the credibility of the 2022 Presidential Election in Kenya.”
The committee further prayed for Kenyans calm and peace even as the hearing marked the end of the political season.
They stated,”We pray for continued peace and calm in Kenya and coming days and weeks.”
Azimio la Umoja had accused Wafula Chebukati, the chairman of Independent electoral and boundaries commission of altering results.
He was further accused of using foreigner by the name Jose Camargo to breach the IEBC servers and and votes in favour of William Ruto of Kenya kwanza.
Azimio la Umoja coalition, further wanted the court to disqualify Chebukati as the chairman of the independent electoral and boundaries commission.
However, The supreme court of Kenya, unanimously refuted the claims and upheld the 2022 presidential results.
