President elect Wiling Ruto visits Uhuru ahead of Tuesday’s swearing in ceremony at Kasarani stadium.
Ruto was accompanied by the first lady elect, Rachel Ruto
The two leaders( Ruto and Uhuru) are expected to address the nation in a joint press briefing.
This is the first meeting since the polls were completed. On his acceptance speech, Ruto had promised to personally call Uhuru after days of not seeing eye to eye.

Ruto also told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour that President Uhuru Kenyatta has not seen it fit to congratulate him since maybe his candidate of choice, Azimio la Umoja’s Raila Odinga lost in the elections and petition.
