Presidential portraits are now available
The government of Kenya’s spokesperson has announced that presidential portraits are now ready.
Spokesperson said,”Following the inauguration into office of H.E Hon. William Samoei Ruto as the President of the Republic of Kenya, we wish to inform our people that presidential portraits are now available.”
Each presidential portrait goes for ksh.300

“They can be collected from the Department of Information at 5th floor, Uchumi House, Agakhan Walk, Nairobi.
Offices and individuals at the county and sub-county levels can get their copies from County/Sub-county Information Officers.” Spokesperson added.
This information has received a lot of mixed reactions with Kenyans asking if it is a must to hang the presidential portrait.
One netizen replied,”That’s a public portrait. You need it in any public office or business. So huna option. Somethings you abide by the set up rules and laws. Not really required by law…but it is a tradition that at times get enforced.”
Another netizen stated,”This is not a constitutional requirement in Kenya it’s only done as a tradition, the president should deal with first thing first – tell us how/why fuel prices are going high in his first few days in office when he promised Kenyans that he would lower them in day one!”
Another netizen added,” Do you understand what an official presidential portrait mean? AND it’s essence? When you comprehend that we can now talk.”
