Miguna Miguna demands 7 million from Fred Matiang’i.
Lawmaker Miguna Miguna demands 7 million from the interior department that was headed by Fred Matiang’i.
Miguna stated that he is giving them an ultimatum, they should settle the money with his advocates before he lands back to his motherland.
He said,” To Fred Matiang’i, Karanja Kibicho and Major General Gordon Kihalangwa: You are hereby directed to contact my advocate, Adrian Kamotho Njenga, and sort out the damages and costs the High Court and Court of Appeal awarded me in the various cases I won since 2018. Do so promptly before I land.”
Lawmaker Miguna Miguna also stated that it was time for the interior department to face the wrath also; Red alerts should be put up against them.
Miguna said,” Whatever goes around comes around. The mafia like Fred Matiang’i, Kibicho and Kihalangwa issued red alerts against me for more than 4 years. Now is their turn to contend with red alerts for crimes they committed against Kenyans.”
Supporting his case was lawyer, Nelson Havi, who stated that the interior department should reimburse Miguna for the several times they ignored the court order and barred Miguna from setting foot in the country.
Havi said,”Another big score for the rule of law. The decree for the payment of damages of Ksh7 million by Matiangi, Gordon Kihalangwa and George Kinoti jointly and severally should now be enforced against the three.”
This comes after Miguna Miguna made a public announcement that president Ruto had delivered his his new passport and he will travelling as soon as the red alerts are lifted.
