John Rachier, who is Ambrose’s elder brother stated that in as much as he has no problem with his brother being in free masonry, the move to reveal himself was a wrong one.
He had kept the secret for over 30 years and should have remained that way.
John said,”I have no problem with it, and it has not affected me because that is him and he has his life to live. However, we did not expect him to go on national television to make such revelations.”
Ambrose’s cousin stated that he had no idea he was in the cult.
“I learned of my cousin’s membership of the Freemasons on television. I will talk to him and find out more about this,” Rachier’s cousin.
Gor Mahia football club and its stakeholders distanced themselves from being involved in free masonry; It is Rachier’s personal conviction.
Rarieda Member of parliament, Otiende Omollo, who is also Rachier’s business partner stated that he is not in any way, part of the society.

Otiende stated,”Interesting times! I have seen an interview by my law firm partner Ambrose Rachier on Freemasonry! I am not and will never join free masonry.”
“Let it be known that the law firm of Rachier & Amollo LLP is not associated with the movement!” Otiende added.
