Museveni’s son on Kenya again; Defies his father
Museveni’s son on Kenya again, this comes on October 18, where he allegedly accused a Kenyan journalist of telling his father to ban him from social media.
A day before, Museveni, revealed that he discussed with his son the consequences of his online moves and directed him to leave Twitter.
He, however, did not clarify whether General Muhoozi was to deactivate his accounts or take a social media break.
In response to the directive, the son lushed out on the journalist, insisting that he was an adult who could not be banned from using his twitter account.
Muhoozi ranted,”I hear some journalist from Kenya asked my father to ban me from Twitter. Is that some kind of joke? I am an adult, and no one will ban me from anything!”
However, his tweets have again raised mixed reactions.
One netizens stated,”I like it that you understand personal liability, the custom that a father should be responsible for the acts of the child is unconstitutional.”
Another one stated,”The fact that President William came to your land and never commented about your jokes of taking Nairobi doesn’t mean he was happy.”
His sentiments comes days after his father had an interview with KTN News Sophia Wanuna.
While speaking on the media, Museveni stated that due to Muhoozi’s controversial remarks on twitter, he was restricted from social media.
Museveni stated,”He’s going to leave Twitter. We have had this discussion. Twitter is not a problem. The problem is what you tweet. Talking about other countries and Uganda’s politics is something he should not do and will not do.”
