Bones found in Aberdares to undergo forensic analysis as DCI links them to the missing Ruto’s IT official.
It’s been a hectic few days for the disbanded Directorate of criminal investigation Special service unit(SSU) as the investigation narrows down to 12 officers( as the suspects)
Three of these officers were pinned by last evening as having played a direct role in the abduction of the two Indians and their Kenyan driver.
The three officers are a chief inspector, a sergeant and a corporal
The three Indians namely ;Zulfiqar Khan, Mohamed Zaid and the Kenyan cab driver Nicodemus Mwania , were last spotted leaving a club in Westlands after a night of merry making on July 23.
Reports have indicated that the three,were abducted near a hotel on Mombasa Road.
Clothes, belts and bones found in Aberdares are believed to be the remains of the two missing Indians and their driver.
The discovery of the bones and other items comes a week after the Indian embassy complained to Kenya, demanding the release of the two Indians, who were believed to be in police custody.
Ministry of foreign affairs reported,”Our High Commission has been in continuous touch with Kenyan authorities. We are also in touch with family members. We are keeping a close eye. I’m afraid they’re still missing.”
“They’ve been missing in Kenya since July 23. A police complaint was filed soon after that. Subsequently, a petition was filed in the Kenyan court. We understand that the issue is now… in the High Court of Kenya. A number of hearings have taken place,”the report added.
The remains have been flown to Nairobi for a forensic analysis.
