Sankok among those rejected in PS jobs; 585 candidates were shortlisted for the principal secretary jobs and subjected to an interview process in mid-October.
On Wednesday 2 , the president Ruto’s chief of staff, Koskei unveiled a list of principal secretaries who will work with him.
The list had a number of bigwigs such as the Kenya kwanza allies; lawmaker Nixon Korir, Julius Korir and Teresia Mbaika among others.
However, an unexpected number of top applicants was missing, One name that caught the eyes of netizens was Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairperson Wafula Chebukati’s wife Mary Chebukati.
Additional applicants who missed the list include the former nominated Member of Parliament David Ole Sankok as well as outgoing IEBC Commissioner Boya Molu, Esther Koimett (Broadcasting and Telecommunications), Peter Kaberia (Industrialisation), Julius Jwan (Education), Saitoti Torome (Planning), and Nelson Marwa (Social Protection), Margaret Mwakimu (TVET) and Fred Sigor (Wildlife).
Additionally, Health Chief Administrative Secretary Mercy Mwangangi and Director General for Health Dr Patrick Amoth were also missing on the list.
Isaac Mwaura (former nominated Senator), Chris Wamalwa who contested for the Trans Nzoia gubernatorial seat contestor, former Narok governor, Samuel Tunai and Daystar University Vice Chancellor Laban Ayiro, did not also make it.
From Former Uhuru’s regime, only two principal secretaries were retained; Belio Kipsang( PS for Regional and Northern Corridor Development) and Charles Hinga( PS Housing Department )
