Kenya is making strides in the right direction- President Ruto.
President Ruto has commended Kenya for the progress it is making . Speaking at CITAM on Sunday during a thanksgiving service, the president highlighted that indeed, Kenya is headed in the right direction.
He stated that Kenyans are no longer focused on ethnic politics or anything that will disrupt the peace that they enjoy.
He stated,”I’m truly proud that Kenya is making strides in the right direction; we have walked away from the politics of ethnicity, hate and division.”
He further commended Kenyans for the kind of maturity they portrayed during the 2022 general elections, by this , peace has reigned.
President Ruto said,”We also set a new record for ourself that we have come of age and our democracy has matured. We can go to elections, vote, go to work and wait for the results in a peaceful tranquil manner.”
“We again thank God for giving us a peaceful elections,” he added.
The president also expressed his commitment to working for Kenya, fueling the country forward in democracy and equity.
He stated,”God has given me the opportunity to be President at this time in our country. I will build the foundation, continue to consolidate the nation of Kenya around issues and around programmes.”
” I will continue to build a country that leaves no person, region or community behind because I believe it’s the will of God,” he added.
