In Tharaka Nithi county, Candidate gives birth minutes before her first Kenya certificate of primary education paper.
According to the Education Director Salecio Maringe, the pupil delivered at Marimanti Hospital in Tharaka Nithi County.
The director also highlighted that the new mother was in stable condition and that she decided proceed with taking the Math exam from her hospital bed.
She will then write her English Language paper between 11:30 a.m. and 1:40 p.m. and thenwrite her English Section B – Composition in the afternoon from 2 p.m.
Further, Maringe informed the press that all her papers, will be delivered to the hospital throughout the entire period.
According to the ministry of education, close to 332 expectant pupils will sit the KCPE and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) exams.
