Information and communication technology Cabinet secretary, Eliud Owalo has stated that they have tightened the nut in ensuring there are no examination irregularities.
He stated that his ministry has been monitoring every social media account and apprehended the ones that were already there, to fuel irregularities.
He stated,” We have been monitoring platforms for the past two months to ensure there are no incidences of malpractice.”
He was addressing this matter today morning at Dagoretti deputy county commissioner’s office, when he oversaw the opening of containers and distribution of the national examinations in the subcounty.
He stated,”I have early this morning presided over the presentation of KCPE and KEPSEA National Examinations Papers for Dagoreti Sub-County, in Nairobi.
“We can all contribute to a successful examination season by creating the right environment for the examinations,” he added.
Monitoring of social media accounts has been a big issue, this is after the directorate of criminal investigations arrested a Kisii University student, who was was supplying fake exam materials in telegram.
