Hiccup as 15 schools in Bungoma county, failed to pick their Kenya certificate of primary education and Kenya primary school education assesment exams.
Speaking to the press, the county deputy commissioner Duncan Okwach highlighted that they have launched a probe into the matter.
He stated that most of this schools, were privately owned and did not meet the Examinations requirements of the ministry of education.
He stated,”The exams are still held in our stores as I investigate what happened with these schools. Nobody will tamper with them.”
He added that despite of the inconvieniences, the pupils were able to sit for their exams.
Okwach stated,”I am happy the exams have started in earnest and police officers are on the look out to ensure all the guidelines are adhered to.”
