What you have given them is five times their rightful share- Gachagua over Ruto’s projects at Kisii region.
The second in command, DP Rigathi Gachagua, has opined that the Kisii region has already benefited so much from Ruto’s tour, than any other region.
Speaking on Friday during the homecoming ceremony of Education CS Ezekiel Machogu in Kisii, Gachagua said President William Ruto has given the community more than it deserves in reference to the votes they gave him in the August polls.
He stated,”What you have given them is five times their rightful share in the government. Nimeelewa rais ni mtoto wenu hapa na ndio labda amependelea nyinyi.”
” I agree with you President, let us take care of these people. But next if they do not cast for majority shares, we will roll out State positions according to their votes,” he added.
This is not the first time, the deputy president is speaking about government shares. Weeks earlier, Gachagua stated that the government is like a company where majority shareholders(those who voted for Kenya Kwanza) benefit the first and most.
While on his three day tour, the President presided over the launch of a water supply and treatment plant and the opening of a computer laboratory in Kisii national polytechnic.
He also commissioned the Kisii Town Water Supply Project, the Kegati Water Treatment Plant in Kisii County which will enhance connectivity and the supply capacity of the plant from 6,500 to 27,000 cubic meters per day.
The president also commissioned road projects and the launch of an affordable housing programme and commissioned the construction of the Gekano-Rigoma-Amabuko Road and launched the Sironga Housing Project in West Mugirango Constituency.
