300 job Vacancies in president Ruto’s 2.7B project of Mavoko Water Supply Project, that he commissioned today.
Through a communication from state house Kenya, they noted that project will be able to connect thousands of households in Eastern province.
They stated,” The project has connected 20,000 households to clean and safe water benefiting 500,000 residents in Mavoko Township, Athi River, Mlolongo and Syokimau.
The connection will also be of direct benefit to over 300 people, especially the youth in Machakos County, and indirect employment so as to help complete its expansion programme.
The project was funded by both Kenya and Belgium governments, and it is aimed at forming part of the larger plan to provide enough drinking water to residents.
Upon completion, Mavoko Water Supply Project will produce 12,000 cubic metres per day and 360,000 cubic metres in a month.
Mavoko Water Supply Project is in accordance with President Ruto’s agenda of empowering Kenyan families with necessary resources such as water for irrigation and domestic use.
