The famous man, who caused fracas at the Bomas of Kenya during the August polls, Raila’s agent Kanchory writes a whole book on what really happened to Azimio and why they lost the election.
Kanchory, who is also a lawyer, wrote a book titled Why Baba Is Not The Fifth in an attempt to refute claims that he was Ruto’s snitch in the Azimio camp.
In the book, Kanchory cites disunity and disorientation in the Azimio La Umoja camp that led to their candidate, Raila Odinga, being unexpectedly beat hands down by William Ruto in the past general election
The lawyer also pointed fingers to Azimio la umoja’s commande centre, terming it as the tower of Babel which did not come to a completion because of language barrier.
He revealed that the centre was being run by Muhoho Kenyatta, the younger brother of the former president Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kanchory also pointed out an alleged disagreement between former Interior principal secretary Karanja Kibicho and former Information and Communications Technology Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru.
He also outlined that some of Uhuru Kenyatta’s diehards, showed no interest at all in fighting for Raila regardless of pledging allegiance ro Azimio la umoja.
Kanchory believes that this individuals remained uninterested in supporting Raila because they believed they would not gain entry to the opposition leader’s inner circle.
Also other leaders who were already close to Raila Odinga had already secured themselves the cabinet seats.
Kanchory also expressed that top officials in Azimio used the campaign period to earn money in anticipation of returning home because they knew they had little chance of being appointed to Raila’s government.
The lawyer also called out on Raila’s spokesperson, Makua Mutua and Suna East lawmaker Junet Mohammed for being responsible for the chaos and disarray at the Westlands-based command centre.
