Ruto cannot threaten me, Let all come out on Saba Saba day- Raila.
Ruto cannot threaten me; Fearless Opposition leader Raila Odinga has expressed that the saba saba rally will continue as promised because no one can intimidate him.
Speaking at political rally at Asango in Sigomre, shortly after unveiling a new dining hall at Mama Ida Odinga Secondary School in Ugunja Constituency, Raila highlighted that Kenya kwanza is not fit to run the country.
He stated,”This government of Ruto is filthy and has abandoned the plight of hustlers with whom he had promised to help.”
The Azimio la Umoja leader, continued expressing that even the members of parliament that were elected to represent Kenyans, have now been corrupted.
He stated that a section of parliamentarians are bribed to approve oppressive bills such as the Finance Bill 2023, with very high taxes.
There is no taxation without representation. We want to aim at the head of this serpent.”
He urged everyone to not fall for the lies and comes out on the seventh day of July to protest this government.
He outlined.”They promised to lower the cost of living using a bottoms-up economic revival plan. However, they have forgotten that and are now increasing the cost of living with blatant impunity. Let all and sundry come out on ‘Saba Saba’s day and say that enough is enough.”
“ I’m telling Ruto that I am speaking on behalf of many people than he has. Therefore, he cannot threaten me,” he added.
Supporting his sentiment was Siaya senator, Oburu Odinga, who decried the poor state of the National Assembly.
He stated,”I have been a parliamentarian for 30 years but I have never seen parliament like the current one. I am even ashamed of being the senator of Siaya because parliamentarians are being bought left, right and centre.”
