Which work station was Raila Reporting to- Malala questions
United democratic Alliance, Secretary General, Cleophas Malala has questioned on where Raila Odinga was going to work this morning.
This comes after the opposition leader, was seen walking to work then after some minutes, he was in a matatu sharing light moments with citizens who were going to work.
Speaking to the media, Raila expressed that he wanted to interact and experience what the citizens are experiencing.
However, Malala has backlashed Raila’s efforts, terming them as any other political theatrics that Azimio la umoja is playing on Kenyans
He questioned on why Azimio la umoja leader would walk to work, surrounded by bodyguards and vehicles that are serviced and fueled by the government
He posed,”Another Normal sarakasi to hoodwink people. Which Kenyan walks to work surrounded by well trained officers & govt fueled vehicles following&waiting for him? And which work station was Raila Odinga & Azimio reporting to?”
Malala’s remarks comes days after Kikuyu member of Parliament, Kimani Ichungwah, who is also a Kenya kwanza Ally, expressed that carpooling is indeed a good idea.
He stated that through carpooling, the demand ob fuel will reduce and this will bring in more benefits like stability of the Kenya shilling against the dollar.
Ichungwah stated,”Car pooling is a good idea.
Reduced fuel demand also exerts less pressure on the national imports bill of which fuel is a major component and could further stabilise the shilling against the dollar.A stronger shilling is good for the economy. I like this conversation. Clearly the CONVERSATION HAS CHANGED indeed.”
