In a statement,President Ruto revealed that Held talks with the President of the African Development Bank Group, Dr akin adesina, State House Kenya, Nairobi.
He highlighted that African development bank, remains one of Kenya’s valuable allies in capacity development to enhance the quality of life of the people.
He stated,”We will magnify our partnership with the African Development Bank to fast-track the realisation of our industrialisation, agricultural, energy and trade agenda for sustained and inclusive growth.”
Notably, he also Held talks with President of Libya Mohamed al-Menfi, State House, Nairobi.
President Ruto revealed that they Discussed how to enhance trade, and security issues in the region, particularly the need to have one initiative to deal with the crisis in the Sudan.
He stated,”Kenya and Libya enjoy cordial relations with noteworthy economic ties based on the export of various agricultural products and Libyan investments in Kenya.
We also share the common vision of a strong, prosperous and united Africa.”
Additionally, he Met Presidents Felix Tshisekedi (the Democratic Republic of the Congo) and Macky Sall (Senegal); we pledged to work jointly in enhancing integration in the continent so as to increase intra-African trade.
President Ruto stated,”Security in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo — and that of the region — remains the East African Community’s collective enterprise. We will seize every opportunity that comes our way to reinforce peace for our shared progress.”
“We will also promote trade and investment and advance climate action to create a better future for Africa’s people,” he added.
