Your Narrative of president Uhuru sponsoring protests is pretty lame- Ledama to Kenya kwanza.
In a statement, Narok County Senator, Ledama Ole Kina, urged Kenya kwanza allies to refrain from calling former president, Uhuru Kenyatta their sponsor.
He urged the government to focus on lowering the cost of living, instead of pointing fingers towards Azimio la umoja for championing for prptests.
Ledama stated,”Your Narrative of president Uhuru sponsoring protests is pretty lame and a red herring. Stop maligning the CONQUEROR he is busy living his life elegantly and wouldn’t give a hoot in hell about your mess. Focus on the issue at hand – Lower the cost of living. That’s why Kenyans are rebelling.”
His comment has received mixed reactions from netizens;
Hukun Dabar stated,”Just call off this maandamano thing, my brother. This may seem like a victory to the opposition, but what does it actually achieve? Talk to mzee Raila Odinga. Tell him to call off demos, retire from politics, and go home because these Maandamano (protests) are not the solution to the high cost of living.”
Hon. Becton said,”Come on let’s not practice selective amnesia: There was a listening president. You’d recall one time the EPRA team and the government was holed up in a meeting the whole night to intervene on fuel prices review.”
Alinur Mohammed expressed,”Kenya Kwanza is desperately trying play a PR game by making the maandamano look like a Raila Odinga – Uhuru Kenyatta thing. They’re trying to make Kenyans forget that it is about the high cost of living.”
Sheikh wrote,”It’s absolutely a Raila affair.
After series of demonstration just few months ago,Through the bipartisan talk when KK extended an olive branch,the issue was about the IEBC selection panel but Raila stopped demonstration even though cost of living was not discussed and agreed.”
