Netizens react to Kalonzo’s house arrest; According to reports, Wiper party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka has been blocked from leaving his house, for two days now.
According to the opposition leader, Who under the weather currently, representatives from the Azimio had gone to see Kalonzo.
Raila stated,”Representatives of our coalition Hon Opiyo Wandayi and Hon Jeremiah Kioni have today visited Hon Kalonzo Musyoka following his ongoing house arrest and detention.”
Confirming the incidents was Minority leader Opiyo Wandayi who stated that they Visited Azimio-One Kenya Coalition co-Principal H.E. Kalonzo Musyoka at his residence.
Opiyo stated,”Kalonzo is a national leader of repute, but the government decided to lock and block him from going about his businesses. This is unprecedented,”
“We unreservedly condemn the unlawful and unwarranted detention, and intimidation of Azimio leaders,” he added.

Senator Cherargei stated,” Kalonzo house arrest/detention is a hoax of the century. Tinga/Uhuru demonstrations has flopped badly they are trying to clutch to any straw to try and whip emotions of their clueless supporters. The media/Azimio-OKA cannot produce even a single photo of police or police vehicle to proof their assertions. Kalonzo just like his name watermelon has just camouflaged from his friends of Azimio-OKA amewaruka kipetero.”
Kevin said,”After asking for a strong opposition & getting it, President Ruto has now started going after those opposing his government. The developing news about the detainment of Kalonzo Musyoka isn’t surprising to me.”
Makori stated,” Mr. President talk to security enforcers to release Kalonzo Musyoka (if at all he is detained). We are a constitutional state. As long as demonstrations have been managed, it is pointless for police to pursue some of these individuals. Let us not set a stage for violence. We shall support DIALOGUE and your agenda but the rule of law ought to prevail. Don’t give Azimio excuses to doubt your respect for democracy and independent institutions.”
