Details of the Constituency strategic plan set up by DP Gachagua in Narok West.
The second in command on Wednesday commissioned the launch of the Constituency Strategic Plan, 2023-2027, Narok West.
He stated that Narok West has started on the right footing to deliver a people-centred development under the National Government Constituency Development Fund.
“It is impressive that the Strategic Plan prioritises access to Education, in a community where the girl-child is, many a time, disadvantaged in learning,”
The deputy president commended the area member of parliament Hon. Gabriel Tongoyo, who has also established 38 mobile laboratories for Junior Secondary Schools in the Constituency.
Gachagua outluned that the 38 mobile laboratories that will be commissioned for Junior Secondary Schools will promote research skills for students and that It is a step in the right direction.
DP Gachagua stated,” It is a short-term intervention to bridge the gap in enhancing research as more resources are mobilised for permanent facilities. It is complementary to the National Government’s efforts of fully implementing the Competence Based Curriculum.”
“The Ruto Administration will continue supporting decentralisation of resources to the grassroots through counties and constituencies, to spark and drive socio-economic development. This directly feeds into the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda,” he added.
Notably, The deputy president addressed the National Government Constituency Development Fund which has tremendously transformed our Nation.
He stated,” One of the ways of igniting development at the grassroots is through allocation of resources to constituencies. Transformation is possible with proper and strategic planning.”
