Gaza situation worse as Israel admits Military Failure.
According to the United Nations world food Programme, Gaza situation has gotten worse with the blockade in place. They outlined that food and water running out.
Palestinians revealed that they are currently relying on generators after its only power station ran out of fuel, but on the other hand, Israel has held its guard saying the blockade will not end until Israeli hostages are released.
More than 150 hostages were taken into Gaza during Hamas’s deadly attacks at the weekend that killed 1,300 people.
Notably, The Israeli defence chief has admitted failures and deficits in the military’s duty to uphold security and protect Israeli citizens, even as US Secretary of State Antony Blinken vowed unending American support for Israel during a visit to the country.
Further, Local news have reported that Blinken will travel to meet with other leaders across the region in the coming days “to keep the conflict from spreading”, and to discuss how to get Hamas to release hostages.
The US secretary of state also says he has met with families of American citizens who have been killed or kidnapped .
He stated,” Enormity of their anguish is immeasurable. Unrelenting agony of not knowing the fate of their loved one is something no-one should ever have to endure.”
