No Kenyan will be discriminated on any Basis- President Ruto on Mashujaa Day.
Speaking at Kericho County, Where the Country commemorated 2023 Mashujaa day, The head of state highlighted that his main aim is to work for and unite all Kenyans.
He stated,”No Kenyan will be discriminated against on the basis of tribe, religion or politics. We are all brothers and sisters of one nation with one destiny as a people of Kenya.”
“I want to assure you that our biggest responsibility is that besides unifying the country, we change our country through development,” he said. We shall all unite and work together and contribute individually to take the country forward.”he added.
On matters heavy Taxation, President Ruto stated that he will not implement policies and sign into law, bills that will harm Kenyans.
He stated,”Our programme is to improve the welfare of all Kenyans and their businesses. We shall support you for the better in your small businesses and in whatever you do to develop the country.”
The discrimination issue, rose when deputy President Rigathi Gachagua stated that those who voted for Kenya kwanza, have greater shares in government as compared to those who did not.
When demanded by Azimio la umoja leader to apologize, DP Gachagua stood his ground saying he will not apologize
He stated,” I have no apologies; I am unapologetic to demand and to insist that those who believed in William Ruto and supported him as a man have every right to benefit immensely from his government. I have no apology, at all, and if that can bring a problem so be.”
