I stand with Governor Kawira Mwangaza- CS Kuria ignites a debate.
In a post in his official twitter account, Public service Cabinet secretary, Moses Kuria highlighted that he stands with Governor Kawira Mwangaza.
This comes after the Meru governor, was unanimously impeached by 59 Members of county assembly that were present in the proceedings, on Wednesday evening.
Meru county Assembly speaker Ayub Bundi stated,”It is my pleasure to announce that ayes have it. The motion has passed and the governor stands impeached by the County Assembly of Meru.”
CS Kuria pointed out that this is an evil scheme that has been laid down, to make sure Kawira is out of office.
CS Kuria stated,”I stand with Governor Kawira Mwangaza. This is an evil scheme by someone who thinks that the only way to be a Mt Kenya Kingpin is to bring down other leaders not to solve the problems of our people who are getting desperate by the day. History will vindicate me.”
Earlier, When Governor Kawira Alleged that she had been arrested, CS Kuria came out to state that all civil servants should be treated with respect.
He stated,”It is wrong to harass Governor Kawira Mwangaza in exactly the same way the other government was harassing some of us.”
However, Kuria’s sentiment have ignited mixed reactions from netizens.
Rindikiri stated,“Mr Kuria, respect Meru people, respect Meru leaders. We know that because of your reckless speech, you will soon be out of that ministry just like it happened before.”
Another tweep wrote,”Meru people are not afraid. Let me tell you, Mr Kuria, we do not want to fight with you because you are not equal to us, the votes you got in Kiambu are equivalent to what an MCA got.”
