Sad as 5 Class Eight Pupils drown in an Eldoret Dam days before exams.
According to the police, The pupils had gone to a popular Amazement Park In uasin Gishu to enjoy themselves before they sit for their exams on Monday. The tragedy happened at around 5 pm on Saturday, October 28, 2023
The pupils from Arap Moi Primary School and their teachers went to the park for a boat ride, In the dam but unfortunately, the boat capsized.
One class six pupil who survived the tragedy, was rushed to Burnt Forest Sub County Hospital and later to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital for further treatment.
The bodies of the 5 were moved to Moi teaching and referral hospital mortuary.
