A family in mourning: In a very sad incident that happened at Laikipia County, Rimuruti, two kids lost their lives.
According to the police who are currently investigating the incident, the two-roomed timber house caught fire killing a three-year-old boy and his one-year-old sister.
The locals heard a loud explosion from the area before the fire broke out, unbeknownst to them that a gas cylinder had exploded.
Both bodies of the deceased were moved to Nyahururu Hospital mortuary awaiting autopsy, even as police investigations are underway.
