Ignore Those opinion polls, Hustlers are happy with Ruto’s governance- DP Gachagua breaks silence.
Ignore Those opinion polls: Speaking during the groundbreaking ceremony of the Riruta-Ngong Commuter Rail Line, The second in command Rigathi Gachagua urged Kenyans to ignore opinion polls.
He stated,”Ignore opinion polls, hustlers are happy with Ruto’s leadership.”
This comes days after TIFA released the poll results on President Ruto’s government. According to TIFA, 42 per cent of the Kenya Kwanza supporters cited that the government failed in its promise to lower the cost of living, stating that it was the main challenge facing President Ruto.
12 per cent of Ruto’s supporters pointed out the burden of debt repayment, faulting the Kenya Kwanza government for continuing to put blame on the previous administration.
Notably, He called for Road jobs to be given to Kenyans contractors, citing that the Chinese at that particular projects were too many.
Gachagua stated,” I would want the contractor and project manager to ensure the local youth are given jobs in this project. Can these Chinese hear me? I saw them (Chinese) lined up to greet President William Ruto and I noticed they were so many,”
“These Chinese should only be three, the company owner, chief engineer and chief accountant to pay the workers on Saturday. All the other jobs should be given to the local youth. We are also able to construct the railway,” he added.
