CS Machogu Lists Top 10 Most Preferred Schools by 2023 KCPE Candidates: This he announced as he was releasing the 2024 Form One selection and placement results at Lenana School on Monday.
The top school is Kabianga High School, chosen by 186,357 students despite having a capacity of only 672.
Second on the list is Nanyuki High School, with 158,741 applications but with a capacity of 480 slots.
Next is Pangani Girls selected by 144,542 students, also with a capacity for 384 students.
Kapsabet Boys followed, chosen by 143,723 students but with a capacity of 432.
Alliance Girls’ High School was number five, selected by 135,033 students with a capacity of 384.
Maseno School, with a capacity for 672 students, emerged as the sixth most preferred choice, attracting 123,777 candidates.
Nakuru High School, with a capacity of 480, was the seventh choice for 115,513 students.
Butere Girls High School followed closely in eighth place, chosen by 114,635 students, and a capacity for 480 students.
Mangu High School, with a capacity of 480, secured the ninth place, it was selected by 112,938 students.
Last but not least was Alliance High School, preferred by 110,839 students and with a capacity of 384.
CS Machogu announced that the 1.4 million 2023 KCPE candidates placed into Form One to download their letters on the KEMIS website and report to school on January 15, 2024.
