Pressure mounts on CS Machogu to release KCSE By Wednesday 27th: Parents and students have expressed concern, over the delay of the 2023 Kenya certificate of secondary examinations results.
While comparing the past years and Former Education cabinet secretaries, parents and students expressed that they would have known their results, before Christmas.
The marking process commenced on November 27th and concluded on December 13th, 2023 but candidates have not yet received their results.
Parents and students expressed;
Victor expressed,”For the first time since Matiangi and Magoha education and exam reforms,this year we celebrate Christmas without KCSE results out. Are we reverting back to February March system @KNECKenya.”
John Questioned,”We miss Prof. Magoha and Dr. Fred Matiang’i. Why are the KCSE 2023 results not yet out?”
Jaymo wrote,”Our tradition is changing slowly by slowly if I’m not mad. KCSE results should be realised before Christmas holidays.
Another netizen expressed,”When are KCSE results being released, we’re tried of anxiety.”
However, Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) asked CS Machogu to allow examiners more time to thoroughly compile and accurately assess the performance of KCSE candidates.
KNUT stated,”Please CS Machogu, we are not in a hurry, give the markers time to analyze results well before you release, we don’t want to experience what happened during the KCPE examination release.”
