NTSA Issues Directive to All Motorists After Shutting Down TIMS Portal; Following the shutdown of Transport Integrated Management system portal, NTSA has instructed all motorists to validate their E-Citizen accounts as a way of readiness for the integration of all services on the platform.
This means, From January 2, 2024, all motorists will be required to use their E-Citizen credentials to access NTSA services. They will also be able to use the uniform pay bill 222222 to make payments for NTSA services.
This comes after the head of state, President William Ruto’s directive for all government services to be consolidated into a uniform platform for accountability and efficient revenue collection.
Note: This will affect all individuals and organizations accessing the TIMS platform.
NTSA stated,”The TIMS platform is currently unavailable to the public due to the ongoing migration and integration to enable access to all services using the E-Citizen single sign-on. In the meantime, we urge all our clients to validate their e- citizen accounts( Personal and organizational).
NTSA had given motorists a grace period of two days to complete pending transactions on the portal.
NTSA stated,”All clients with pending transactions on the TIMS platform are therefore required to complete their Friday, December 15, 2023, to avoid any inconveniences.”
