Top Schools in KCSE 2023 Results as Provided by KNEC: A number of candidates scoring A, A- & B+ has improved, but is still below level it was before Matiang’i Education reforms.
Female candidates recorded better performance in 5 subjects: English, Kiswahili, CRE, Home Science and Art & Design
A substantial number of candidates achieved a mean grade of B+, with 18,078 individuals securing this grade. The distribution between genders showed 10,370 males and 7,708 females achieving a B+.

Moi High School Kabarak, which gathered 202 As Mean of 11.22
Alliance Boys’ High School, gained 157 As and a C+ out of 347 students who sat for the exam Mean of 11.01
Maseno High School enrolled 288 candidates. 140 scored As, 97 A-, 19B+, 3B and one B-, gathering a mean score of 10.98
Sawagongo High School in Kisumu scored a mean grade of 10.138 with 27 candidates scoring As, 100 B+, 53Bs, 8B-,5C+ and one C
