Ezekiel Mutua tells off critics Mocking A cop who fell from a moving vehicle in viral video: A clip that has made rounds on social media, captured the police officer’s dramatic fall after being thrown out of a fast-moving Land Cruiser into a murky pool.
The clip was first shared by Digital Cops who claimed that the officers were on a defensive driving training. However, the cop quickly got up while limping towards the direction of the vehicle.
This has caused much amusement to a section of netizens,with the fall being reduced to memes on Whatsapp and other social outlets.
Music Copyright Society of Kenya(MCSK) CEO, Ezekiel Mutua, has condemned Kenyans making fun of the officers and further called on Kenyans to extend some level of empathy to the cop.
Ezekiel Mutua wrote,”So sad that people are circulating the clip of a police officer who fell off the car into a murky pool on the road, apparently escaping from imminent attack from wananchi,”
“To see memes made out of this accident is sickening. Police are human beings deserving of respect and sympathy. While some are rogue, we shouldn’t generalise the hate to the point of finding fun in the pain of people who put their lives on the line to protect ours,”he added.
