KUCCPS explains Why KCSE 2023 Students Are Having Challenges Accessing Portal, Gives Alternative: The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has explained why KCSE 2023 candidates are having challenges accessing the application portal after multiple errors were reported.
KUCCPS cited that it was experiencing high traffic hence the challenges faced by students in their applications.
However, despite the errors, KUCCPS has urged students to keep checking the portal until they succeed in Applying.
KUCCPS advised,”We apologise for the inconvenience. The KUCCPS portal is open for application. We are experiencing high traffic but we encourage you to continue checking.”
Additionally, Students in need of help with their application were advised to visit various Huduma Centres in the country.
The 15 centres listed were Nairobi (GPO), Eldoret, Nakuru, Kisumu, Nyeri, Garissa, Kakamega, Meru, Kitale, Thika, Mombasa, Isiolo, Narok, Laikipia and Kitui.
KUCCPS stated,”In addition to the KUCCPS offices and the application support desks at the institutions, applicants who require assistance should visit any of the following Huduma Centres.”
The application portal was opened on Thursday to all the 2023 KCSE students who are making applications to various tertiary institutions.
Note: The application portal will be open until February 22, 2024.
