BREAKING NEWS: Several Feared Dead After Truck Collides With Bus Along Mombasa Road: Several people are feared dead following a tragic accident that occurred on Monday, February 12, at Syokimau along the Nairobi -Mombasa Highway.
Police reports indicated that the accident, involving an Embassava bus and a tipper truck left the two vehicles being severely damaged as a result of the collision and the bus veering off the road before landing inside a ditch.
Unfortunately, two people died on the spot whereas those injured were rushed to nearby health facilities.
Eyewitnesses rushed to the scene, which was followed by the arrival of first responders. Images captured from the scene of the accident showed the bus windows shattered, whereas the lorry’s bonnet had completely been damaged.
According to eyewitnesses, the lorry rammed into the bus from behind leading to the accident. At the time of publishing this article, the cause of the accident had not yet to be established.
