BREAKING NEWS: Last year’s KCPE candidate among 3 burned to death over motorbike theft: Three young men on Tuesday were burned by a mob on suspicion they had stolen a motorbike in Manyatta B area, Kisumu county.
According to Reports, one of the three had sat for his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations last year and was yet to join Form One.
One other person was identified as a recent Form Four leaver, while nothing much was known about the third deceased, save for the fact that they were friends living together.
A witness narrated, “The three young men were forcefully fished from their house on Tuesday morning, beaten thoroughly and later burned.
“The three were burned in front of their house after they were accused of stealing a motorbike. The young man who just recently sat for his KCPE begged to be spared, even promising to speak the truth, but his pleas fell on deaf ears,” added the witness.
Pictures and videos seen by Witnesses affirmed The charred remains of the three boys lying on the ground.
The three bodies were taken to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital Morgue pending autopsy.
Meanwhile, Detectives at Kasagam police station have started their investigations into the incident.
