Margaret Wanjiru’s Cryptic Message to Ruto, Gachagua After Hospitalisation: Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has issued a warning to President William Ruto and his deputy, Rigathi Gachagua, regarding potential repercussions for the alleged grabbing of land belonging to her Jesus is Alive Ministries in the CBD.
Speaking to her congregants at her church following her discharge from the hospital on Thursday, March 8, Wanjiru asserted that influential government officials were actively attempting to seize her property, despite the church being the lawful owner.
She wondered why the President and his deputy watched as she was being humiliated. Wanjiru expressed her disappointment at the duo, noting that she worked very hard to ensure that they clinched power in the 2022 General Election
“How many screams does Margaret Wanjiru have to make for anyone to respond and rescue us? Is this how you reward our hard work? Believe me, you will look for me.”
“I was one of the founding members of UDA. I worked for two years straight before people came and took what I worked for and I let it go. I have loved you and your family. I have never disrespected you.. but the tables are turning,” she stated.
On the other hand, she expressed that her life and that of her family were in danger alleging that the land grabbers were keen on ensuring that they take over the land.
We have never grabbed anybody’s land. We do not even accept land that does not have a title deed. The sanctity of that document is very important and that is what gives you the right of a property.
“We bought this property many years ago. Along this Weruga lane, no land belongs to the government, it only belongs to investors like ourselves.”
Wanjiru was hospitalised on Wednesday after police officers allegedly roughed her up while overseeing the construction of a perimeter wall.
Reports indicated that the land is being contented by Kenya Railways. The corporation has yet to speak on the matter.
