PSC denies hiring Jacque Maribe as the Head of Communications in Moses Kuria’s ministry: On Thursday, the Public Service Commission (PSC) dismissed reports that former Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe has been hired as Head of Communications in the Ministry of Public Service.
While making the clarification, PSC chairperson Anthony Muchiri noted that no such appointment had been made, nor had the board received a request to employ her.
“For the record, the position will be filled through a competitive recruitment process should a vacancy arise,” Muchiri noted.
According to PSC, CS Moses Kuria is quoted to have said “It is true except that I am not the one who appointed her but the Public Service Commission”
PSC’s clarification comes three days after reports depicted that the TV star had landed the communications role courtesy of CS Moses Kuria.
Confirming the appointment through his social media platforms on March 10, was Digital Strategist Dennis Itumbi, who thanked CS Kuria for the appointment.
Itumbi stated,”Congratulations, Jacque Maribe. May God bless you as you serve. Thank you Moses Kuria for standing with a generation, please keep doing good and stretching your hand,” the strategist added.
