CCTV Captures Moment Thief Fell and Died Trying To Break into a Shop

CCTV Captures Moment Thief Fell and Died Trying To Break into a Shop: Detectives attached at Kitui are unfolding circumstances surrounding the death of middle-aged man who was found inside a store on Friday, March 29, after falling from a ceiling in an attempted robbery.

In a report from Mulinge, The store owner, he found the man’s lifeless body after opening his shop before noticing a huge hole on the ceiling.

Mulinge stated, “When I opened the shop, I saw that a part of the gypsum plaster on the ceiling had a huge hole, and just below it on the floor of the shop was the body of a man who looked lifeless.”

In a CCTV Footage that has circulated online, the man was captured busy cutting the ceiling, He later passed through the hole. His legs could be seen dangling in the air purpotedly holding on to the roof. Moments later, he lost his grip and fell to the ground head first.

The footage further showed that the man did not die instantly. He can be seen struggling in pain on the store’s floor for several minutes before going numb at around 11:40 pm.

His body has been moved to Mwingi Level 4 Hospital mortuary for a post mortem examination.
