Easy Coach Issues Update After Their Bus Ferrying Chavakali Student Overturns: The bus company has come out to give an update on the Accident that happened at Mamboleo -Kisumu on April 1, 2024, around 10 pm.
Unfortunately, one student from Chavakali high school was killed and over 33 others were seriously injured.
The injured were rushed to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu for treatment.
The statement read,”We are deeply saddened to confirm a fatal accident involving our Mbale-Nairobi bus. Three additional passengers were admitted to the hospital but are currently in stable condition We wish them a full and speedy recovery. Other passengers received medical attention and have since been discharged.”
“Our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved,” read part of the statement.
According to witness, the driver lost control at Mamboleo roundabout in Kisumu. Nyanza Regional Traffic Commander, Allan Mwangi, has confirmed that they are searching for the driver as probe into the accident continues.
