KPLC Lists 9 Counties To Experience Thursday Blackout: The power firm has on Wednesday evening  a power outage notice to its customers in the Listed Counties.

Nairobi County ( 9:00Am to 5:00pm)

Areas include;  South C’s Bellevue, Toyota Kenya, Ole Sereni Hotel, KNEC, Khalsa schools, Kenya Re, Nextgen Mall Eka hotel and adjacent customers.

Kiambu County ( 9:00Am to 1:00pm)

Areas affected include; Thika Green phase 1-3, and Githingiri, Memorial Hospital, Kari, Kalro and Government View Estate.

Bomet County (9:00Am to 4:00pm)

Areas affected are Chesilyot and Kaplong

Embu County (9:00Am to 4:00pm)

Affected Areas include; Kivwe, Makengi, Kivote, Ena, Kithimu and Rukira.

Kirinyaga County

Affected Areas are Kianjiru,  Mururi markets, Governor’s office, part of Kutus town, Chinise-Site Daraja ya Mungu,  Kwa Kibera, Kutus Municipality and adjacent customers.

Busia County ( 9:00Am to 5:00pm)

Areas affected include; Nambale DC, Lugulu, Madende, Namahindi and Mungatsi

Machakos County (9:00Am to 5:00pm)

Areas include; Kangundo Road, Joska, Malaa, parts of Athi River including Nova Pioneer, Welding Alloys, Greatwall 3-5, Kongoni Godowns, Riverpark and Paradise Park estates,  Sayani Brothers, Industrial Area, Muthini Estate, Civil Servant’s Estate, Bomani and adjacent customers.

Migori County ( 8:00Am to 2:00pm)

Affected Areas include; Gogo,  Rapogi, Parts of Awendo, Uriri, Lwanda, Sori, Pinyo Owanjo and Osiri Gold Mine.

Nyeri County ( 9:00Am to 5:00pm)

Areas affected include Blueline, Munyu, Kimahuri, KWS Mt Kenya, Soweto, Kiriakor, Naromoru Girls, Judea, Meree, Lusoi, Mapema, Ndathi, Kiawambogo, Kianguru, Nyagatugu and Wanjerere
